Taxi driver’s obligation

These are the obgations of taxi drivers in Greece

• The cab driver has to carry the passenger’s lugages from the pavement and load it in the car and vice versa.
• The taxi driver has no right to refuse a ride to a client. Also, in order to allow another person on board he must ask for the initial pasenger’s permission.
• The passenger has the right to ask the taxi to wait for him for up to 15 minutes, or more (if there is a very good reason for it).
• On passenger’s request, the driver is obligated to issue a receipt or invoice that will state the route taken and the client’s charge for it.
